The legend of the Dreamcatcher is believed to have originated with the Oneida Indians in the United States.

The Dreamcatcher allows good dreams to flow through the Spirit Hole in the centre of the web.

But the bad dreams are trapped in the web and then disappear with the morning sun.

We have found many children asking for dreamcatchers, and then coming back in to tell us how they don't have any more bad dreams...
