The Story of Beauty Everywhere

Beauty Everywhere is inspired by the magical cover art of Charles Frizzell. The artwork and the special connection I feel with whales and dolphins led us to Kenneth Balcomb of the Center for Whale Research. He has licensed to us the sounds of the humpback whales he recorded in Mexico and in Silver Bank, Dominican Republic, in 1980.

The premise of this music is that the whales and dolphins are assisting us on our journey home to ourselves. Some Earth-based peoples consider them to be Wisdom Keepers who serve as a rainbow bridge between the world of duality and the world of peace and oneness.

I felt called to begin working on this music shortly after the Gulf oil spill. I have spent a lot of time on the Gulf Coast and felt deeply saddened by this tragedy. The music is dedicated to the healing of the waters. The sound of ocean waves on Beauty Everywhere is from the recording of the Gulf that I made in 1998 in Gulf Shores, Alabama, U.S.A.

How do we hold the vision of beauty everywhere in a world that appears to be spinning out of control? It is an inner game of holding the intention to choose beauty and peace. We are always at choice as to how we respond to every event, person and experience.This is not a denial that there is extreme suffering and environmental destruction. Rather, it is a form of clear vision, seeing and believing the beauty that is the true reality. The New Earth is already here; when we look and listen deeply, we know her Beauty.
