Terms and Conditions

Methods of Payment: Payments for goods can be made made debit or credit cards (excluding Amex & Diners, these cards need to be used via PayPal) or alternatively you can pay for purchases via PayPal.

UK Postage & Packing: Goods can be ordered with or wihtout postal insurance. We always recommend you select the postal insurance to cover your items; orders under £41 by "Recorded Delivery" or over £41 by "Special Delivery". Please Note: Choosing ordinary First Class Postage without insurance is at the buyers own risk.

International Postage & Packing: International Orders will always be sent via "International Recorded Delivery" to ensure they are delivered and signed for upon receipt.

Please be aware that we do not take responsibility for payment of any duty and taxes you may incur from your country of origin, if you are ordering from overseas. For more information please contact Customs in your country, as some goods may be subject to custom controls.

Guarantee/Returns Policy: All items for sale come with a full manufacturers warranty. If a product develops a fault, or it is received damaged or faulty, please contact us as soon as possible to resolve the situation. The majority of our products* come with a "7 Day No Quibble Guarantee*", where you may return a product for a refund (less any carriage charges) if you decide it is not suitable, providing it is returned in its original condition and in the original packaging. In this situation, it is the responsibility of the customer to return the product to us. If items are returned and not in a resaleable condition it will not be credited but returned to the buyer. As we cannot be responsible for damage caused in transit, we strongly recommend that you use an insured delivery service. Please contact us by calling 01202 540088, or emailing info@lightawareness.com, prior to returning the goods.

*Exclusions: The "7 Day No Quibble Returns Guarantee" does not apply to CDs or DVDs, if a CD or DVD is faulty then a replacement will be arranged but no substitute (this exclusion is also in accordance with the Distance Selling Directive see below for link to these regulations). Items that have been especially order for you via our Order Service are not part of of our stock lines, and therefore will count as a firm order and cannot be returned. Any items bought from SALE & CLEARANCE section are sold on a firm sale basis, any imperfections will be described and are not returnable or refundable.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm
