Apache Tear Obsidian represents the tears of Native American women, mourning the death of their warriors driven over the cliffs by the cavalry. Therefore, this "volcanic glass" has been used to comfort in times of grief. Apache Tear Osidian has all the proeprties of obsidian but with a gentler, milder healing action.

This stone allows us to see the true meaning of a situation and can provide us with insight and the understanding to accept it. Allowing you gently release grief and heart ache, very similar to smoky quartz in its properties.
